Lester Obie Arnold Jr.

On March 13th, 2023, Lester Obie Arnold Jr, Loving husband and father, passed away at the age of 73. Charlie was born April 24th, 1949, in Dallas, Texas to Lester and Viola Arnold. Upon graduation from Desoto High School, He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He then spent 6 years in the Marine Corps. and served 2 tours in Vietnam. Where he received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnamese Service medal, Vietnamese Campaign Medal and Combat Action Ribbon. When he returned to the United States, he attended SMU and earned a bachelor's degree. He worked as a communications engineer for 40 years. He loved to make people laugh and living life. Fishing was a pastime he enjoyed. He was a compassionate man who would help those in need. Enjoyed time with family. Especially Grandkids. Thank God for our time together. Services will be at Dossman Funeral Home, Belton Texas on Friday March 17th, 2023, at 1:30pm. With burial to follow at Moffat Cemetery.
