Kitty Stuart

Graveside services for Kitty Stuart, 88, of Lubbock, formerly of Belton, will be held at 10 AM Saturday, July 29, 2023 at North Belton Cemetery with Rev. Sam Callaway officiating.

The family will receive friends for visitation Friday evening from 6-8 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.

Mrs. Stuart died Tuesday, July 25, 2023 in a Lubbock Nursing Center.

Mrs. Stuart was born August 10, 1934, in Merkel, the daughter of Kit Carson Woods and Birdie Seymore Woods.   She married Kenneth Stuart November 4, 1950 in Belton.   She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Belton for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Kenneth Stuart and Herman Frank Stuart and daughter-in-law Trudy Stuart.

Survivors include five grandchildren, Kevin "Cheezy" Stuart, Amanda Self, Thomas Stuart, Brian Stuart and Andrew Stuart, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
