Kim Teressa Walker

Our Mother Kim Walker, age 57, was received into God’s loving arms on October 11th with her family by her side.

Kim was born on July 29, 1964 in Bronx, NY and graduated from St. Catherine High School in 1982. After studying English and receiving her Bachelor of Arts at Iona College, she moved to Southern California where she later met her husband, Jason Walker. Kim and Jason went on to raise their 7 children in San Jacinto, CA and later in Central Texas. She worked at Summit Christian Academy for 11 years and Belton ISD for 2 years. She was the leader of the “Walking With Jesus” Bible study group, which she held in her home.

Family gatherings and family time were of the utmost importance to Kim, and gave her the greatest joy. She also loved having her children and children’s friends in the house and always had an open door, a listening ear and plenty of food to go around. Full of love, life and laughter, she brought joy to everyone who crossed her path. Time together cooking, eating, reading, celebrating and laughing were her most favorite memories.

She loved with her whole heart and everything she touched turned to gold.

Kim is survived by her mother, Yvonne Gonzales; her brother, Frank Marino; her husband, Jason Walker; her children, Jason Michael Walker and wife, Becca, Brandi Segrets, Jordan Walker, Anthony Lolio, Tyler Walker, Trevor Walker and Zoe Walker; and her many beautiful grandchildren.

A Celebration of her life will be held on October 20th, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Crossroads Church in Belton, TX - 500 South I-35, Belton, TX 76513. Interment will follow immediately afterwards at the North Belton Cemetery, 1500 N Main St, Belton, TX  76513.
