Memorial services for Kenneth D. Oldham, 75, of Belton will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 3, 2023, at Dossman Funeral home Chapel.
Mr. Oldham died Saturday, June 24,2023 at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple.
Kenneth was born February 5, 1948 in Lubbock, the son of Omus Aaron Oldham and Thelma Jean (Campbell) Oldham.
He graduated from Dimmitt High School and attended two years of college. While in high school he met the love of his life
Rochelle Johnston and they were married August 30, 1969, in the home of his parents. Together they raised 2 children, and built a home where you could laugh often, apologize when you should, and let go of what you can’t change. Pop Daddy and Nanna together for almost 54 years loved and cherished 7 grandchildren, extended family, and a multitude of friends. They taught them to forgive quickly, play hard, and live a life with no regrets. Ken provided for his family, working tirelessly for more than 40 years in commercial construction. While employed at Hensley-Phelps, he was recognized for his outstanding record for safety and multiple awards in leadership.
He was preceded in death by his parents O.A. (Shorty) Oldham and Jean Oldham.
Survivors include his wife Rochelle Oldham, one son Kable D. Oldham and one daughter Kendy Rochelle Oldham Lischer; one brother Eugene Oldham and two sisters Doricell Davis and Gay Killebrew, and seven grandchildren, Kyler Oldham O’Brien, Kaden O’Brien, Alayna Oldham, Kadyn Lischer, Kash Oldham, Zerik Lischer and Zane Oldham.
Memorials may be made to the Children’s Miracle Network at McLanes Children’s Hospital in Temple
