Julia Rosemary (Ragsdale) Bruton

A memorial service for Julia Rosemary Bruton, 88, of Temple will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Moffatt. She died peacefully, at a Round Rock Hospital on the evening of Wednesday, September 22, 2021.

She was born on August 27, 1933 to parents, Ulysses Eugene and Irma Eugenia (Lamar) Ragsdale. She married Leslie Paul Bruton in Austin on April 4, 1952 and they were married over 55 years until his death on February 22, 2008.

Rosemary was a member of the First Baptist Church in Moffatt. She leaves a life legacy of God’s love and the Christian faith with her family and friends.

Survivors include four sons, Bobby Bruton and wife, Shirley of Georgetown, David Bruton and wife, Judy of Salado, Cliff Bruton of Temple and Charles Bruton of Austin; one daughter, Judy Leake and husband David of Austin; eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren, numerous extended family and many friends.
