Joshua Wayne Flanagin

Joshua Wayne Flanagin, 17, beloved son, brother, grandson, exchanged his earthly home for his Heavenly crown on Sunday, January 5, 2020.

Joshua was born on July 10, 2002 in Huntsville, Texas. He moved to Belton, Texas at the age of 2, where he lived with his mother and second dad. Joshua was in his senior year at Belton High School. Joshua loved anything to do with cars and trucks and would often have friends over to tinker with their cars. Joshua loved his family and friends fiercely.

Joshua is survived by his parents, Robert Flanagin, mother Michelle Cosper and her husband Olen, brothers Adam Waddell and Kade Walling, niece Hadley Walling, grandparents Michael and Rhonda Flanagin, Roy and Dianna Cosper, Michael and Kathleen Holt, and William and Terry Hixson. Also surviving are aunts and uncles: Jason and Jessica Holt, JaBri and Stephanie Brussard, Melissa Carter, Bruce and Tammy Gregory, Aaron and Shelly McDonald, Andy and Mandy McDonald, Amanda and Jason Stephens, and Christopher Wong.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Foster Love of Bell County, 1003 N. Main Street, Belton, Texas 76513.

A memorial service for Joshua will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Dossman Funeral Home chapel in Belton with Rev. Sam Callaway officiating.
