Jimmy L. Beaver

Memorial service for Jimmy L. Beaver, 87, of Temple, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Foundation Church, 10751 W. Adams, in Temple.

Mr. Beaver gained his wings, August 9. 2024 at, Baylor Scott & White Rehabilitation Hospital  in Temple.

Mr. Beaver was born, January 9, 1937, in Atlanta, Texas the son of Conway and Juanita (Hammock) Beaver.  He married Martha Anne White, July 1, 1962, in Hughes Springs, TX where they started their life together.

He began his long-time career as a draftsman for the petroleum industry in the Houston area. He retired in 2001, before moving to Temple.

Jimmy enjoyed baseball and softball especially when his grandchildren were playing. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, the outdoors, and good conversation. Jimmy never met a stranger .

He was a member of Foundation Methodist Church in Temple.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Beaver; one son John Beaver Sr. and daughter-in-law, Jackie Beaver; one sister, LaJuan Henson and brother-in-law, J.W Henson; seven grandchildren, John Beaver Jr, Jeremy Beaver and wife Jessica, Tiffany Beaver, Isabela Beaver, Jacob Beaver, Tyler Livanec and Hunter Livanec; six great-grandchildren Khloe, Colette, Zoey, Harley, Luke, and Moxie; also nieces and nephews Mike, Pat, Amy, Felicia, Richard.
