Jerry Wayne Wallace

July 10, 1943 — April 27, 2020

Private services will be held for Jerry W. Wallace, 76, of Euless.   Mr. Wallace died Monday, April 27, 2020 in a Bedford Hospital.

Mr. Wallace was born July 10, 1943, in Belton, the son of John A. and Alma Ree (Bell) Wallace.   He was a graduate of Belton High School, earned his bachelors in education from Southwest Texas State University and his masters in education from North Texas State University. He married Doris Hutchins, August 10, 1963 in LaPorte.  He was a teacher and a coach.  Mr. Wallace had a long career in education beginning in 1970 in San Antonio were he taught for five years before moving to the Dallas/Ft. Worth Area and working for HEB ISD with a short stretch at Irving ISD.  He retired from teaching and coaching at HEB ISD in 2000.   He was a member of First Baptist Church of Euless.
Mr. Wallace loved sports but mostly football.  He was a Dallas Cowboy fan and a TCU fan, where his son played football.
He was preceded in death by his parents and older brother Howard Allen Wallace who died in 1962.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Doris Wallace of Euless; daughter Amanda Harris and husband Jay of Ft. Worth; son Brad Wallace and wife Dana of Cedar Park; two sisters, Ree Nell Furnace of Belton, Patricia Ann Damron and husband Gary of Tyler; and four grandchildren, Alexandra, Victoria, Chloe, and Tucker Wallace.
Memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation of your choice.
