Jerry Don Knox

Jerry Don Knox, 72, of Holland and formerly of Belton passed away on Monday, June 15, 2020 at his home in Holland after a lengthy illness.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 5-7 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.

Jerry was born on November 7, 1947 in Raymondville, Texas to Clarence Franklin and Charlcie Naomi (Chandler) Knox. He worked for the Bell County WCID #1 for 30 years, retiring in 2001 as the chief operator. He married Judy McDaniel on January 26, 1969 in Edcouch, Texas and they were married for 51 years before he passed away. Jerry served in the US Air Force, was a longtime member of the 6th Street Church of Christ as well as the Bell County Sheriff's Posse.

Mr. Knox was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Don Knox, Jr.

He is survived by his wife Judy of Holland, son Jason Knox and his wife Amy of Holland, grandson Cooper Knox and granddaughter Tommie Jane Knox.

Dossman Funeral Home in Belton is in charge of the arrangements.
