Jennifer Lynn (Ferguson) Williams, 57, of Temple and formerly of Long Beach, California passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021 at Baylor-Scott and White in Temple after a brief illness.
A memorial service for Jennifer will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Pastor Brian Grant officiating. Her body will be cremated.
Jennifer was born on February 14, 1964 in San Diego, California to Richard and Shirley (Schooley) Ferguson. She grew up in Lakewood, California and graduated from high school there. She married Harold "Ike" Williams on December 27, 1990 in Inglewood, California and they were married for almost 31 years before she passed away. Mrs. Williams lived in Long Beach, California for almost 30 years where she worked as a care giver for I.H.S.S. and later worked for Accent here in the Central Texas area. She was a member of Crossroads Church in Belton.
She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law Elizabeth Jopp. Survivors include her husband Ike of Temple; son Christopher Williams and his wife Iliana of Hawthorne, Ca.; daughters Amanda Butner of Lakewood, Ca., and Elizabeth Williams of Sylmar, Ca.; her mother Shirley Preciado of Temple; her brother Aaron Scott Ferguson of Las Vegas, NV.; and a sister Mary Garcia of Washington State. Also surviving are grandchildren Fernando Williams and Captain Williams of Hawthorne, Ca., and Kimberlee Williams of Long Beach, Ca.; brothers-in-law Richard Williams and his wife Karen, and Kenneth Jopp; sisters-in-law Terri Talbert and her husband James, Traci Stewart and her husband Brent of Temple, and Marianne Parker and her husband Tom; father-in-law Robert Jopp, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Dossman Funeral Home in Belton is in charge of the arrangements.
