Jeffrey Lee Martin, born on March 5, 1972, in Temple, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on January 1, 2025 at the age of 52. Jeff was the son of Larry Lee Martin and Deborah Dianne Browning and the biological son of Joel Lee Boren. He grew up in Central Texas and graduated from Belton High School in 1990.

Jeff dedicated much of his career to construction, working side-by-side with his father at Martin & Son Construction. After his father's passing in 2022, Jeff continued his career at Norman Building Materials in Belton, TX, where his dedication and craftsmanship were highly respected. Jeff was a man of many passions. He found joy and peace in the outdoors, spending countless hours hunting, fishing, and honing his woodworking skills.

Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Dianne (Browning) Martin; his father, Larry Lee Martin; his biological father, Joel Lee Boren; and his grandparents, Rosalee Martin Mandigo, Marion Martin, Jack Browning, and Minnie (Baggerly) Browning.

He is survived by his beloved daughters, Kylee Martin, and Caitlyn Drexler and husband Jordan Drexler; and one grandson Wyatt Jason Drexler; his two sisters, Charlotte Martin Landry, and Jennifer Emerson and husband Darrell Emerson; as well as many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A viewing visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton and a memorial service will be held at-a-later-date, to be determined, to allow time for family members out of the country to travel. Details are forthcoming.

Jeff’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, in the laughter shared during a hunting or fishing trip, the beauty of a hand-crafted piece of wood, and the legacy of love and hard work he leaves behind.
