J.C. Brown

Funeral services for J. C. Brown, 80, of Temple, will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Dossman Funeral Home, with Rev. Rick Reed officiating.  Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for visitation Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mr. Brown died Wednesday March 23, 2022, in a Temple Hospital.

Mr. Brown was born, July 6, 1941, in Ballinger, the son of John C. and Agnes Brown.  He retired from Bell County Road and Bridge Department as a blade man.   He was a long time, faithful, member of Calvary Baptist Church in Temple.   Mr. Brown was truly concerned where you would spend eternity.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Paul, Charles, Henry and Roger; and one sister, Betty Walters.

Survivors include three brothers, Tony Brown and wife Kathy of Belton, Bobby Brown and Johnny Brown both of Temple, and many nieces and nephews.
