Jason Wayne Reid

Jason Wayne Reid, 42, of Elm Mott and formerly of Belton passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021 in Hillsboro, Texas.

Funeral services for Jason will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with Mathew Ledbetter officiating. Burial will follow at Moffat Cemetery near Moffat, Texas.

Jason was born on July 14, 1979 in Temple to Thurman Wayne Reid and Donna Boney. He was raised in the Central Texas area and graduated from Belton High School in 1997. Mr. Reid worked for many years as a truck driver and most recently was working for the HUB Group as a driver.

Mr. Reid was preceded in death by his grandparents Thurman "Red" and Patsy Reid as well as Melvin and Myrtle Boney. He is survived by his father Thurman Wayne Reid and his wife Robin of Temple; mother Donna Young of Elm Mott, sons Zachary, Gatlin, and Hager Reid; daughters Breanna and Ava Reid; brother Dillon Young, and step-brother Kevin Patridge.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 21 from 5-7 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
