James Benedict Stubbs

James (Jim) B. Stubbs of Belton passed away June 28, 2023, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple.   Jim was born on December 18, 1964, in Sierra Madre, California to John Thomas and Genevieve E. Stubbs.

He graduated from Pater Noster High School in 1983.  Jim proudly served five years in the US Navy on USS Juno. Jim retired from Frito Lay after 23 years as warehouse manager.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, brother Martin and his beloved son John Thomas (JT) Stubbs.

Jim is survived by his loving wife and best friend Shawna Stubbs and his beloved daughter Morgan Stubbs. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Janet Perkins.  Other surviving family members include his siblings: Rosemary (Dave) Morabito Riverside, Ca; Loretta Beckley Minneapolis, Mn; John (Maria) Stubbs Phoenix, Az; Frank (Elaine) Stubbs San Diego, Ca; Marie Hamilton Jurupa Valley, Ca; Bernadine (Bob) Olson Dallas, Tx; Michael (Suzie) Stubbs Corona, Ca; and Thomas (Norma) Stubbs San Antonio, Tx.

Private family graveside services will be held at a later date.
