James E. Hebert

James (Jim) Edsel Hebert , 86 years old , of Temple, Texas , passed away on December 8 th , 2020 in Temple .

Private funeral services will be held at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Temple with father John officiating, with interment to follow at Bellwood Memorial Park Cemetery in Temple.

Jim was born in Port Arthur, Texas on January 8 th , 1934. He married Beverly Hebert on March 17 th , 1990 . He worked as a Branch Chief in Quality Assurance for NASA. He was  was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus and was in volved with the Elks Lodge of Temple. Jim loved to fish and bar-b-que.

Jim is preceded in death by his first wife Lucille J Hebert his son James Edsel Hebert Jr.

Jim is survived by his wife Beverly Hebert, 4 children; Jeff Tays and wife Nicole, Marsha Therriault and husband Richard, Denise Bryan and husband Les and Teresa Whittenebarger;  10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and his brother Glen Hebert.

Memorials contributions in lieu of flowers or plants may be made in Jim’s name and made to Baylor Scott and White Hospice., Temple, Texas 76508.
