Jack Neal Burt

Memorial services for Jack Neal Burt, 65, of Pancake, are scheduled for Friday, October 29th at 11:00am at the Turnersville Tabernacle, with graveside and luncheon to follow.

Jack passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021 in a Temple hospital.

He was born, August 8, 1956, in Fort Worth, to Buck and Lucille (Knoblock) Burt.  He was a veteran, serving in the United States Army.  A man of many trades, he loved being a welder and mechanic, building and fixing anything, oftentimes going out of his way to help anyone in need.  Jack loved to fish and spend his time outdoors.  He really enjoyed being with his grandchildren and was sure proud of them.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Davina Burt and a sister Barbara Sharon Haun.

Survivors include his wife, Carolynn Burt; five sons, Duane Johnson, Versile Johnson, Mikel Johnson, John T. "Burt" Johnson and Zeb Burt; two daughters, Shanna Ramirez and Christina Studer; one brother, Steven Gordon Burt and sisters, Diane Stephenson, Melba Jean Steele, Adrina Louise Callaham; and his grandchildren:  Logan Mayberry, Kali Mayberry, Zeb Johnson, Zoey Johnson, Zayn Johnson, Lucille Johnson, Zackary Johnson, Preston Reed and Jacob McSwain.
