Hilda Elizabeth Metz

Hilda Elizabeth (Riedel) Metz, 81, of Belton and formerly of Santa Rosa, California passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at an assisted living center in Belton.

Services will take place at a later date in California.

Hilda was born on December 10, 1938 in El Cerrito, California to Kurt and Pauline (Unger) Riedel. She graduated from the Berkley School of Business and worked for many years as an accountant for Vacudry in California. Mrs. Metz married Henry Metz on April 21, 1977 in Santa Rosa and they were married for 37 years before he passed away in 2014. Hilda moved to Belton in 2017 to be close to family. She was involved in the Girl Scouts and the Early Ford V-8 Club.

Survivors include sons Ralph Hinkson of Belton, Edward Hinkson of Harker Heights, and Joe Metz of Palo Cedro, Ca.; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Dossman Funeral Home in Belton is in charge of the local arrangements.
