Hector Jose Villarreal

Funeral services for Hector J. Villarreal, 92, of Belton, will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton.  Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for visitation 5:00-7:00 PM Tuesday with a Rosary following at 7:00 PM Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Dossman Funeral Home.

Mr. Villarreal died Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at his home.

Mr. Villarreal was born September 24, 1931, in Karnes City, the son of Guadalupe and Elena (Galvez) Villarreal.  He married Udencia Gonzales, April 7, 1955 in Kennedy.  He was a farmer in Kennedy for 15 years, before moving to Belton in 1969.   He worked for Belton Continental for 17 years.   He was Catholic.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Udencia Villarreal; four daughters Sylvia Olivarez, Yolanda Castor, Adelfa Alcozer and Ana Marie Costilla; one sister, Uvaldine Palomo; nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
