Guadalupe Herrera

Guadalupe (Rodriguez) Herrera, 70, of Austin and formerly of Temple passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 in Austin.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Temple. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple.

Guadalupe was born on October 17, 1948 in Temple, Texas to Jose and Julia (Jimenez) Rodriguez. She was raised in Temple and graduated from Temple High School. She married Ralph Herrera on January 31, 1981 in Temple and he preceded her in death in 2005. Mrs. Herrera worked as a claims specialist for Scott and White Hospital, King's Daughters Hospital, as well as other medical facilities. She was a longtime member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Temple.

Guadalupe was preceded in death by her husband, brother Ignacio Rodriguez, and sisters Connie Constancios and Angela Serna. She is survived by daughter Jami Herrera of Austin, step daughter Tiffany Herrera Wisconsin, and brothers John Rodriguez and Jesse Rodriguez both of Texas, and sisters Rachel Nava of Temple and Basilla Rodriguez of Temple..
