Gloria Owens

Funeral services for Gloria Ann Owens, 70, of Temple, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 22, 2019, at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Deon Jones Asberry officiating.  Burial will follow at the North Belton Cemetery.

Mrs. Owens died Sunday, June 16, 2019, at her home.

Mrs. Owens was born April 2, 1949 in Elgin, the daughter of Henry and Annie (Dorsey) Jones.  She married Odis Owens on July 20, 1968 in Columbia, Mexico.  They moved to Temple in 1980.  She was a homemaker.  She was the best mom and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Survivors include her husband, Odis Owens of Temple, son, Shon Owens of Temple; two daughters Sonya Owens and Kisha Thomas both of Temple; two brothers Al Jones and Bobby Jones both of Austin; one sister Joy Ray of Austin, and ten grandchildren.
