George L. Wilhite

George Lee Wilhite, 87, of Killeen passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Baylor-Scott and White in Temple.

Graveside services for George will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Rest Haven Cemetery in Belton with Pastor Joe Diggs officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening from 6-8 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.

George was born on December 7, 1933 in Belton to George Robert and Allie Mae (King) Wilhite. He was raised in Belton and attended schools there. Mr. Wilhite married Geneva Langston on May 3, 1952 in Belton and she preceded him in death in 2016. George was a longtime concrete contractor and owner of George Wilhite Construction until his retirement.

Mr. Wilhite was preceded in death by his wife Geneva; son Jeffrey Don Wilhite; daughter Pansy Wilhite; brothers John Cecil Wilhite and Dayton Wilhite; and sisters Alene Martindale, Louise Stone, and Maxine Safley. He is survived by his daughter Wanda Moore of Killeen.

Dossman Funeral Home in Belton is in charge of the arrangements.
