George P. Tittsworth

A Celebration of Life for George P. Tittsworth, 94, of Temple, will be Saturday, March 23rd, 11:30 am, at the Northside Church of Christ in Temple, TX.

Mr. Tittsworth died Tuesday, February 27, 2024, in a Temple hospital.

Mr. Tittsworth was born April 21, 1929, in Houston, the son of Henry Samuel and Clara Tittsworth. He served proudly in the United States Navy as an Airman on the USS Pine Island, from 1948 to 1950.  He married Helen Cheairs December of 1953, in Houston.

Mr. Tittsworth worked for 37 years for FMC Corporation in sales and service.  In retirement George and Helen enjoyed full time RVing. In 2000, they stopped RVing and moved to Temple. George and Helen were married for 61 years, until her passing in January 2015. He was a faithful member of the Northside Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his wife, and his eight brothers and sisters.

Survivors include three sons, James Tittsworth, David Tittsworth and Robert Tittsworth, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
