George A. Dewitt

George Aurther Dewitt, 54, of Nolanville passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Seton Medical Center in Harker Heights after a brief illness.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 5-7 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton. He will be cremated.

George was born in El Paso, Texas on May 6, 1966 to George and Sarah (Clemmins) Dewitt. He lived several places including Germany while growing up, moving to Killeen in 1974. He graduated from Killeen High School in 1985 and soon after began working for PACTIV in Temple, working for more than 30 years before he passed away. Mr. Dewitt married Kristal Ellison on March 14, 1989 in Belton and they were married for over 32 years before his passing.

Mr. Dewitt is survived by his wife Kristal of Nolanville; daughters Sara Jane Dewitt Collins and her husband Daviss of Carrollton, Texas, and Kathi LeeAnn Dewitt of Nolanville; sisters Elizabeth, Wanda, Cheryl, and Barbara; and one grandchild Sean George.

Dossman Funeral Home in Belton is in charge of the arrangements.
