Gayle Diane Ledyard

Funeral services for Gayle Ledyard of Temple, will be held at 11:00 AM, December 29, 2018, at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.

Mrs. Ledyard died on December 21, 2018, in a Temple hospital surrounded by her family and friends.

Gayle was born January 10, 1952, in Elyria, Ohio the Daughter of Donald and Mildred Josephine (Hiner) Coe.   She married Jerry Ledyard on April 9, 1981, in Burnet, Texas.  Gayle worked for the USDA for over 30 years before retiring in 2007.  She enjoyed spending her time traveling with Jerry in their RV, gardening, quilting, and enjoying their many dogs and cats.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Ledyard, four sons, Kirk, Mark, Jeff and Jason Ledyard four daughters in law, Annette, Shelley, Lisa, and Amanda; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

Dossman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
