Gary Michael Worley

Funeral services for Gary Michael "Mike" Worley, 64, a life-long Temple native will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, May 27, 2022, at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple.

The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service beginning at 12 Noon.

Mr. Worley died Monday, May 23, 2022, at Baylor Scott & White-Temple Hospital.

Mike was born June 1, 1957, in Temple, the son of late R. D. Worley and Jesse Oletha (Dennis) Worley. Mike was a 1975 graduate of Temple High School.  He went to work as an electrician and spent 33 years as a well-respected Journeyman Electrician and a member of the Local Union 72 Waco Chapter.  He enjoyed fishing and was a loyal University of Texas Football fan.

He was preceded in death by two wives, Connie and Linda, parents, R.D. & Oletha Worley and eldest brother, Charles Dale Worley.

Survivors include sister, Beckey Worley; nephews, Charles Hill Jr. and Gregg Worley; niece, Michelle Worley Stockton; great-nephew, Ryan Stockton; great-niece, Shannah Hill and stepson, James Shafer.
