Gary W. Osborne

Funeral services for Gary W. Osborne, 73, of Temple, will be held at 6:00 PM Tuesday evening, November 26, 2024, at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton with ministers John Pelizzari and Bernie Blauwkamp officiating.  Burial will be on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at North Belton Cemetery.

Mr. Osborne died surrounded by family on Saturday November, 23, 2024, in a Dallas hospital.

Mr. Osborne was born July 28, 1951 in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, the son of John William Osborne and Etta May Smith Osborne.  He married Cynthia Beasley October 1, 1994, in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  They lived in several states before they made their home in Texas, after moving from Michigan, in 2017.

Mr. Osborne was founder and developer of several ministries, including, Youth for Christ, Promise Keepers and Operation Blessing.  He was a member of Agape Christian Center in Belton.

Mr. Osborne was preceded in death by several children, Achaziah, Tabitha, Noah, Timothy Osborne and Rhema Osborne, and son-in-law Christopher Trent Colquett.

Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Osborne, two sons, William Jacob Bell and wife Erin, and Samuel Jeremiah Osborne; four daughters, Rebecca Ann Sapp and husband Landon, Charity Faith Colquett-Sharp and husband Keith, Shekinah Glori Betz and husband Nick and Stanya Dolores Schut and husband Todd; one brother, Guy Osborne; one sister, Gayle Marchiony and husband Peter, 22 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
