Fred started working at the age of 12 and worked for over 30 years at Vaden Drywall alongside his dad and brother. A lifelong work ethic and an unbreakable bond were formed throughout their time working together. Fred later owned his own business, Fred’s Media Blasting, where he was able to showcase his many talents. He aimed to please, never settling for less than perfection. Fred had many friends and was always willing to help in any situation. Mr. Vaden was also a firearms dealer. He was a licensed pilot since 1978, fisherman and a motorcycle enthusiast. He loved life and lived it to the fullest, which is evident in the many hobbies he enjoyed.
If he wasn’t flying his airplane in the clouds or going around a curvy back road on his motorcycle, you could find Fred fishing on a lakeshore and exploring the Colorado Mountains, which he always said is where he felt closest to God. Fred invited Jesus into his heart at a young age and was confident that he would spend eternity in Heaven. He was a member of 3 C Cowboy Church in Salado.
Fred was preceded in death by his mom Opal Vaden and his dad W.T. Vaden. He is survived by his brother Frank (and Sandy) Vaden; his sister Ann (and Kenny) Wood; nieces Amanda (and Joel) Maroney; Kayla (and Travis) Lane; and nephew Frank Lee Vaden, Jr. Fred also had great-nieces and a great-nephew who h loved dearly.
Memorials may be made to 3C Cowboy Church, 16258 Gooseneck Road, Salado, Texas 76571.
