Frank Ortiz, 82, of Temple, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024. His visitation will be on Monday, December 9, 6-8pm. Services will be on Tuesday, December 10, at 11 am. Both will take place at Dossman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at North Belton Cemetery.

Mr. Ortiz was born on December 21, 1941, in Moline, TX., to parents John and Placida Ortiz.

He was a carpenter by trade. He loved to be outside making and building different things. But he also enjoyed football, especially the Dallas Cowboys, and watching old westerns. He will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Placida Ortiz; one daughter, Rachel Alcozer; three sisters, Eloise, Lupe, and Josie; and two brothers Manuel and Paul Ortiz.

He is survived by four sons, Freddie Ortiz, Fabian Ortiz, Frankie Ortiz, and C.J. Ortiz; two daughters, Cynthia Ortiz and Tina Ortiz; three brothers, Jessie, Joe, and Edward; two sisters, Mary and Amelia; and many grandchildren
