Frances A. Franz

Frances Ann (Bailey) Franz, 78, of Temple and formerly of Bartlett passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at a Temple care facility.

Graveside services for Frances will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021 at 10:30 AM at the Bartlett City Cemetery in Bartlett with Rev. Kenneth Garner officiating.

Frances was born on December 3, 1943 in Bartlett to James L. and Oleta (Higginbotham) Bailey. She grew up in Bartlett where she attended school, graduating from Bartlett High School in 1962. Mrs. Franz attended Arlington State University for a period of time before she began working for a Temple CPA firm. She later worked for Scott and White Health plan for 26 years, retiring in 2011 as an Accounting Assistant. Frances was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bartlett.

Survivors include her son Jim Franz and his wife Anna of Salado; daughter Julianna Franz of College Station, Texas; and twin grandchildren Jon Franz and his wife Morgan of Salado and Jenna Franz of Dallas.

Dossman Funeral Home in Belton is in charge of the arrangements.
