Funeral services for Frances Anderson, 90, of Belton, will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, June 20, 2019,
at Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton with Father Joseph Nisari officiating. A private family burial
will be later at Bellwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be at 6:00 PM Wednesday evening followed by a
rosary 7 PM at Dossman Funeral Home Chapel.
Frances Anderson was called home to our Heavenly Father Sunday, June 16, 2019.
Frances was born April 20, 1929, in Birmingham, Alabama, the daughter of Frank and Margaret
Williamson. She married Donald Anderson September 25, 1948, in Meridian, Mississippi. They lived in
California before moving to Belton in 1973. They left Belton for Wisconsin but returned to make Belton
their home in 1977.
Frances was a long-time member of Christ the King Catholic Church where she was involved with the
Women's Ministry there. She was a member of the Sammons Bridge Players Club in Temple for many
years. She also belonged to a Temple bowling league for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband February 11, 1992, and daughter Mary Lynne Pelham and
son Mark Alan Anderson.
She was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan (Jerry Jones not so much) there was no other team for her. She loved
to spend time with her family and going to the movies with her daughters. Her faith was her guide
through her entire life attending Mass as often as possible brought her peace.
Survivors include : Donna Feuerstein and husband Doug; Cathy Korton and husband Thomas; Wade
Anderson and wife Debbie; Janet Walker; Chris Anderson and wife Sue; Matt Anderson; David
Anderson; Larry Anderson; Carol Anderson-Poncik and husband Mike; Donald Anderson II and wife
Michelle
She had 27 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society in lieu of
flowers.
