Floyd Dewayne Williamson

Graveside services for Floyd DeWayne "Red" Williamson, 74, of Moody, will be held at 2 PM, on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at the Moody Cemetery, with Rev. Tom Shelton officiating.

Mr. Williamson died Friday, November 10, 2023 at his home in Moody.

Mr. Williamson was born April 6, 1949, in Clovis, New Mexico, the son of John Floyd Williamson and Norma Lucille (Borden) Williamson.   He graduated from Texico High School in New Mexico.  He served for several years in the United States Army.  After the service he worked for 12 years for the railroad.   He worked for 40 years for Williamson Construction Co.  He was a Baptist.

Mr. Williamson was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Johnny Williamson.

Survivors include one son, Christopher Williamson; daughter Jodi Ryan and husband Guy; several step-children including Renee Weeks; one brother Danny Len Williamson and wife Karen; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, 17 step-grandchildren and many step-great-grandchildren.

Dossman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
