Evelyn Wimberley

Funeral services for Evelyn M. (Gryseels) Wimberley, 65, of Temple, formerly of Lake Jackson, will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 12, 2019, at First Baptist Church Belton with Philip Bassham officiating.  Burial will follow at the North Belton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 10AM- 12 Noon on Friday, April 12, at the Dossman Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Wimberley died Saturday, April 6, 2019 in LaGrange.
Mrs. Wimberley was born April 25, 1953 in Houston, the daughter of Charles A. Gryseels and Esther Sturges Gryseels.  After high school graduation in San Marcos she attended college.  She married Gary Wimberley December 1, 1973 in San Marcos.  As a homemaker she home schooled all seven of their children.   She moved to Temple earlier this year.
Survivors include her husband Gary Wimberley  of Temple; two sons Bryan Wimberley of Lake Jackson and Brad Wimberley of Sweeny; five daughters LeaAnn Spray of Melbourne, Arkansas, Lori Bassham of Cumming, Georgia, Lesia Pettijohn of Melbourne, Arkansas, Lacee Presley of Lake Jackson and Lindsay Wimberley of Cumming, Georgia; three brothers Charles "Tony" Gryseels of Lake Jackson, James Gryseels of Vernon, Texas and Steve Gryseels of Temple; 23 grandchildren.
