Evelyn "Sis" Tomlinson

Graveside services for Evelyn “Sis” Tomlinson, 87, of Belton, will be held at 2P.M. Monday, December 7, 2020, at the North Belton Cemetery with Minister Ed Wilkes officiating.

Ms. Tomlinson died Friday, December 04, 2020, in a Belton Nursing Home.

Ms. Tomlinson was born December 19, 1932, in Novice, the daughter of Foy and Nora (Meador) Tomlinson.  She graduated from Howard Payne University and began a career in Education.  She taught at Novice High School and Ft. Stockton where she taught and coached basketball.  She also was a substitute teacher in Belton for many years.    She was a member of First Baptist Church at Silver Valley.  She moved to Belton in 1990.

She was preceded in death by her brother Elvin Tomlinson.

Survivors include two nieces; Julie Evans and husband Sam of Belton; and Debbie Sherwood and husband Sid of Belton; three great nieces Jordan Evans Bajaj and husband Marc, Crystal Price and Bethany Sherwood; three nephews Riley Evans and wife Maybelline, Robert L. Price II and wife Paige and Sidney Sherwood; three great great nephews Evan Bajaj, Riley Evans Jr and Rhyder Siegeler.
