Eugene L. Campbell

Eugene 'Gene" Leo Campbell was born to Leo and Mary Ellen Campbell on March 7th, 1947 in Nampa, Idaho. He outlived his sister, Linda Campbell and brother, Tom Campbell.  He graduated from Nampa High School in 1964. Gene met the love of his life, Teresa May Clatfelter in 1963.  They married, September 2, 1965 at the First Nazarene Church in Nampa, Idaho. Spending 57 wonderful years together. They had two children, son, David L. Campbell and daughter, Teresa M. Jorden, six amazing grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren and one on the way.
Gene received his bachelor's degree in electronics from the University of Maryland in 1978. He spent 22 years in the military consisting of world wide installation and food services.  After his military career he worked with Veterans Affairs helping veterans find employment after the service.   He was also a teacher at Boise State University instructing Electronic Engineering.
Once asked, what his favorite color was Gene said, "the sunrise breaking the water"  Him and his wife loved to travel the world meeting lots of amazing people. They loved to fish, hunt, camp and explore the outdoors..
Gene and Teresa moved from Chubbuck, Idaho to Belton, Texas in 2007.

On March 8, 2023 went peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones.  The service will be held at 10AM Tuesday, March 14, 2022 at the Dossman Funeral Home in Belton
