Funeral services for Ethel Marie (Ross) Slusher, 93, of Belton, will be held at 11:00 AM Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Dossman Funeral Home Chapel with Dub Falsone officiating.   Burial will be 9:00 AM Monday, January 8, 2024 at the North Belton Cemetery.

Mrs. Slusher died Saturday, December 30, 2023 in a Temple Hospital.

Mrs. Slusher was born  February 9, 1930, in Marion, Virginia, the daughter of Theodore and Mamie Stone Ross.  She married Eugene Rutherford Slusher September 6, 1947 in Pulaski, Virginia.   She and her husband moved to Belton in 1997 to be close to their family and grandchildren.  She enjoyed church services especially singing in the choir, performing solos and was always eager to praise the Lord in song.

Mrs. Slusher was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Tony Slusher.

Survivors include one son Gary Slusher and wife Nancy and one daughter Jeanette Prybyloski and husband Clem;  four grandchildren, Elizabeth Varville and husband Chris, Courtney Carter and wife Candice, Ashley Baird and husband Cody, and Juliet Beam and husband Dan; and ten great-grandchildren, Matthew, Noeh, Christina, Caitlyn, Coleman, Cameron, Cayden, Charlie, Baylor and Beckett.
