Elisa Ramirez

Elisa Juarez Ramirez passed away at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple Texas on October 20th, 2024.

Rosary will be Wednesday October 30th 6 pm at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.

Funeral Mass will be Thursday October 31, 10:30 am at Christ the King Catholic Church also in Belton.

Elisa Juarez Ramirez was born on June 14th, 1941, in Milam County, Texas to Manuel and Dolores Aldama Juarez.
Elisa was raised on the farm by her Grandmother Epifania Aldama in Rockdale , Tx after her parents died at an early
age.

Elisa married Pedro Salazar Ramirez Sr. on April 18th, 1959, in Rockdale, Tx and would eventually move to Belton, Tx.
She first began work in manufacturing, eventually becoming a highly skilled welder. Later in life, she began working at
Miller Heights Elementary for the Belton Independent School District. She enjoyed the job dearly she would say, most
especially for the joy the children never failed to bring. After 20 great years of school service she would later retire to
volunteer full time at Helping Hands Ministry. This is a place she said, that she also dearly loved for the great friendships
she made along the way. Elisa and Pedro remained married and together until his death on February 3rd, 2020. She
remained a devout Catholic Christian and a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Belton, Tx.

Elisa is survived by her son’s: Pete & wife Jennifer of Belton, Tx, and Justin Ray Ramirez of Belton, Tx, daughters; Mary
Jane & husband Heriberto Zaragoza Jr. of Belton, Betty Ramirez of Belton, and Gracie & her husband James Hebert of
Azel, TX. She had 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

Elisa is preceded in death by her parents, 3 siblings, and her husband of 60 years.
