Edna Pearl Drake

Edna Pearl (Siegeler) Drake, 92, of Belton passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Park Place Manor in Belton.

A funeral service for Pearl will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Nolanville. A visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 5:30-7:30 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.

Pearl was born in Rogers, Texas to Gus and Nellie (Blankenship) Siegeler and was raised in the Taylor's Valley area most of her young life. Mrs. Drake married Weldon Drake on June 21, 1947 in Belton. They were married for 66 years before he passed away in 2013. Pearl worked for many years at various businesses in the Central Texas area including a boot shop in Temple, a clothing manufacturing company, and finally at Grigg's Equipment in Belton. She attended the First Baptist Church in Salado.

Mrs. Drake is survived by her son Weldon Allen Drake and wife Deborah of Rumley; daughters Linda Chaney and husband Sheldon of Temple and Brenda Weaks of Belton; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Dossman Funeral Home in Belton is in charge of the arrangements.
