Dorothy Ann Shiller

Dorothy Shiller passed away surrounded by her family and friends in Park City, Utah, on Thursday, November 24th, 2022.

Dorothy was born to Timothy Wesley Oujezdsky & Martha Marie Brunner Oujezdsky on September 4th, 1942, in Granger, Texas.

She was married to Billy Gene Shiller on June 19th, 1965, in Taylor, TX and were happily together for 57 years until his death in September of this year.

As a child Dorothy survived Polio.  She went on to graduate Valedictorian from Granger High School. In college she graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Texas at Austin, class of 1964. "Go Horns!!!"  She was a devoted high school teacher for over 40 years, at Columbus High School, Killeen High School and Harker Heights High School.

She is survived by her son Cory Shiller of Dallas TX, brothers; Tim Oujezdsky of Katy, TX and Pat Oujezdsky of Austin, TX, sister Janis Connally of Belton, TX, sister-in-law Marilyn Artieschoufsky of Taylor TX, many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and friends, and her Grandpup, "Pinot".

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Dorothy's name be made to the Harker Heights Pet Adoption Center-Animal Shelter, or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

Visitation will be at Dossman Funeral Home, in Belton, Texas on Monday, December 5th, 2022, from 5pm to 7pm.

Graveside services will be held at Taylor City Cemetery, Taylor TX, on Tuesday, December 6th, 2022, at 10am.
