Doris Laverne Blair of Belton, Texas passed away on August 26th, 2024, in Temple Texas.

Memorial service will be at 10am, on Saturday, September 7th, 2024, at Dossman Funeral Home, Belton, Texas.

Doris was born on July 24th, 1959, in Pineville, Louisiana, to her loving mother Jessie Laverne Pruitt.  Doris was blessed to have grown up with not one, but two caring fathers during her life.  First, Issac Lee Biddy, then Bob Moran.

Doris worked for 17 years as an elementary school P.E. teacher at Thomas Arnold Elementary School, after retiring she focused on the family, taking care of her sister, Mom, raising her daughter Tiffany, and being Nana to her grandkids   and still had a very active life.  In 2014 she met and fell in love with Glen Pool, and they have been together ever since.   Doris also loved camping and fishing with her family, dancing to country western music, watching the Dallas Cowboys play, spending time with her grandkids, and her puppies. All with her love of sweet tea in her route 66 cup.

Doris is survived by her common law husband of 10 years Glen Pool, her daughter Tiffany Blair, brothers; Willie Biddy, James Lee & wife Amanda Biddy, Robert & wife Margarita Biddy, grandchildren Ethan and Elaya Eckles, Brother-in-law Robert Fields, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Doris is preceded in death by her parents, brother Randy Hyde, sister Jackie Fields, and sister- in- law Tammy Biddy.
