Donald Marvin Smith Jr.

Donald Marvin Smith Jr. passed away at his home in Temple Texas on January 24th, 2024.

Donald was born on July 5th, 1929 to Donald and Marion Rogers Smith in New London, Connecticut.

Donald joined the Navy in August of 1946 and retired after 20 years.

He married the love of his life Mary Splendora Kershaw on May 16th, 1962, in Glynco, Georgia.

Donald was a very quiet and loving man; He loved to fly and was licensed for both Planes and Helicopters.

He is survived by his wife Mary Smith of Temple Texas, son Bob Bowman of Bradenton, Florida, and daughter Linda Myers of Temple Texas
