Donald F. Baggerly

December 12, 1947 — August 7, 2020

A Memorial service for Donald F. Baggerly, 72, of Belton will be held at 1 PM Thursday, August 13, 2020 at the Dossman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mike Baggerly officiating.  The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service.   A private interment will be held at a later date.

Mr. Baggerly died Friday, August 7, 2020, at his home.
Mr. Baggerly was born December 12, 1947. in Belton, the son of Richard W. Baggerly and Lela (Nettle) Baggerly.   He graduated from Belton High School in 1966.  He married Linda Madden, September 4, 1966 at the First Christian Church in Belton.  He worked for many years in the nursing home Industry,  as a licensed insurance agent, and as a metal building contractor.
Mr. Baggerly was a member of the southwest basketball officials association for many years.  He coached little league baseball and enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren participate in all their activities.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Linda Baggerly of Belton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Anita Baggerly of Lampasas and Brett and Tammie Baggerly of Belton; one brother Jim Baggerly of Belton; four grandchildren, Brendan Baggerly and wife Chelsea, Brody Baggerly and wife Darcey, Madden Baggerly and Grant Baggerly; two step-grandchildren, Heather Wiggins and husband David and Amanda Linville; three great grandchildren and six step great grandchildren and two step great-great-grandchildren.
