Dennis Fowler

Dennis Ray Fowler was born on September 13, 1961 in Lamesa, TX. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on September 19, 2020 at the age of 59.

His parents are Roy Fowler and Maxine (McAnally)Wise. Dennis attended school in Rogers until he moved to Belton and graduated from Belton High School in 1980. He worked his whole life in construction, with the majority of his work being with Drywall Systems Inc., where he met many of his lifelong friends. Dennis married Shelly Beck on September 15, 1984. They were blessed with two daughters, Kimberly and Kenedy. Dennis loved to hunt and fish and spent most of his time doing just that. He went on many trips with his friends and always made awesome memories.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine (McAnally) Wise.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Shelly; two daughters, Kimberly Hubbard and husband Scoot of Moody, and Kenedy Przybylski and husband Keaton of Temple; one grandchild, Hella Hubbard; father Roy Fowler and wife Dovie of Temple; siblings, LaVonda McGuire and husband Jay of Arlington, Cyndi Hernandez and husband Roland of Corpus Christi ,Tony Fowler and wife Candie of Temple, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton, TX. Funeral

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Dossman Funeral Home. Burial services will follow at Bellwood Memorial Cemetery in Temple, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the LLS (Leukemia & Lymphoma Society).

The family of Dennis Fowler wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Bruce Mercer with Kindred Hospice, Sheila Bass with Baylor Scott & White, and the entire team at the Vasicek Cancer Treatment Center. Dennis will be remembered as a hardworking, loyal and loving husband, dad, papaw, and friend.
