Dennis Lee Carter

Dennis Lee Carter, 65 of Little River, Tx went home to be with our heavenly father on June 24, 2019. Dennis was born October 07, 1953 in Uvalde, Texas to L. J. “Shorty” and Betty D. (Whitehead) Carter. He attended Academy Schools where he participated in football as part of the 1970 quarter final champions. He retired from Texas Alliance Group where he worked for many years as a Superin tendent building Auto Zone s throughout the United States. He had a generous heart; always willing to help others in need.  Dennis was a beloved brother, father, grandfather, and uncle. He was precedent in death by his parents and brother Willis Sansom.

Survivors include his sons, Joshua Dean Carter, USAF; Jonathan Dion Carter and wife Jennifer Carter of Little River Academy, 5 grandchildren; Jordan, Christian, Colton, and Elizabeth Carter of Little River, Connor Duffey of Houston; b rothers, Leslie Carter of Little River, and Gene Carter of Temple , t win sister, Janice Power of Round Rock and Barbara Pratt of Moody, along with many other extended family.
