David Posey

Funeral Mass for David Posey will be 10 AM Saturday, August 28, 2021, at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Temple with Father John Guzaldo officiating. Burial will be 2 PM Saturday August 28 at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Taylor Texas.

Visitation will be Friday, August 27, 2021, from 6 PM to 7 PM with a Rosary at 7 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.

David was born on March 18, 1943, in Temple, TX to Glenn and Adeline (Kurtz) Posey. He graduated from Holland High School, class of 1961. He married Adele Posey in Taylor Texas on October 16, 1971, she preceded him in death in 2021. David served in the US Navy and the Vietnam War. He was a Farmer and later worked for Enviro Pest Control and Bug Master. He was involved in the American Legion-Post 526.

David is survived by a son Jonathan Posey; a daughter, Janeane Justice, and husband Joshua; a brother, George Posey, and wife  Marilyn and two grandchildren, Jaxon, and Jaylee Justice, along with many nieces and nephews.
