Christopher Raymond Phillips

A Celebration of Life Service for Christopher R. Phillips, 50, of Temple, will be held Saturday, August 12 @ 10 AM at Vista Community Church in Temple TX

Mr. Phillips died Sunday, August 6, 2023, in a Temple Hospital.

Mr. Phillips was born August 28, 1972, in West Allis, Wisconsin, the son of Raymond and Rosemary Wierzchowski Phillips.  He served in the United States Marine Corps for 4.5 years.   Mr. Phillips worked for Waste Management in Wisconsin before being transferred to Texas 12 years ago.  For the last two years he was director of operations with Al Clawson Disposal in Jarrell.

He married Marcy Osborn on April 30, 2021, in Temple.  He was a member of Vista Community Church in Temple where he was a server.

Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Rosemary.

Survivors include his wife, Marcy Phillips, two daughters, Isabelle Phillips and Faith Phillips; one son Benjamin Phillips; brother and sister-in-law Todd and Rebecca Phillips; stepmother Mary Phillips, and stepbrother and stepsister in law John and Pam Flach.
