Christell Brown

Christell Dowell Brown, 83, of Belton passed away Thursday April 9, 2020 in Gatesville, TX at Hillside Medical Lodge.

Christell was born September 19, 1936 in Moody, TX to William Cecil Dowell and Ona Erma Porter Dowell.  She grew up in Moody and Roby Texas.  She later moved to Belton and was a beautician for 52 years.

Christell married Ernest Monroe Brown and they were married for 44 years before Ernest passed away September 29, 2007.  Mrs. Brown is survived by her sons Monty Brown and Billy Brown of Belton.  Daughter Brenda Brown of Lampasas.  Grandchildren Timothy Brown, Angela Brown, Morgan Brown, Brook Brown, John Henderson, Stephanie Henderson, Justin Siegfried, Conner Siegfried and 6 great grandchildren.  Brothers Billy Dowell, Mack Dowell and Ronny Dowell.  Sisters Shirley Pennington and Neray Ragsdale.  She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Melva LaDean Lehmannd and Maryann Terry.

Lord, help me to remember that nothing is going to happen today that you and I together can't handle. Amen
