Charlotte Lee Parker

November 4, 1957 — January 15, 2019

Charlotte Lee (Hutcherson) Parker, 61, of Holland passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 in the comfort and care of Baylor-Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas after a courageous battle with multiple health problems over the past several years.

A graveside service for Charlotte will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Wilson Valley Cemetery in Little River with Tony Mahan officiating.

Charlotte was born in Temple, Texas to Charles H. and Dorothy (Stone) Hutcherson on November 4, 1957. She attended and graduated from Academy High School. She married Glen Parker and was a homemaker as well as helping her husband with his carpentry business. Charlotte and Glen loved to spend time camping and fishing. She also was her mother's favorite shopping partner. She was a wonderful cook and loved cooking for her family as much as they loved her doing so. Charlotte loved babysitting several children and loved them as if they were her own.

Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Glen, her paternal grandparents of Van Alstyne, Texas, and her maternal grandparents of Little River, Texas. Also preceding her in death are sister in law Patricia Hutcherson as well as nephews Jeffrey Scott Dudik and Scott Curtis Smith.

She is survived by one brother Jimmy Hutcherson, and two sisters Beverly June Dudik and Shirley Ganson. She is also survived by one nephew and four nieces, several great nephews and nieces, 5 step grandchildren and 9 step great grandchildren. Charlotte is survived by the very best of friends Georgia Marshall and her family, Debbie Walker and her family, and Cynthia and Bubba Martinez who were just like her children.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.
