Charlotte Wallace Copeland

Graveside services for Charlotte Wallace Copeland, 82, of Salado, will be held at Noon, Monday, October 14, 2024, at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple with Frank Wallace officiating.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 9:00 to 11:00 AM Monday at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.

Mrs. Copeland passed away Thursday October 10, 2024, at her home in Salado.

Mrs. Copeland was born October 21, 1941, in Belton, the daughter of Woodrow Wilson Wallace and Bethel Lee (Bell) Wallace.  She graduated from Belton High School in 1960.   She married Howell Ray (Hal Ray) Copeland February 17, 1961, in Belton.

She worked for many years as a legal secretary for John Roark.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Salado.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Hal Ray Copeland; daughter Dede Copeland (Harper); son Scott Copeland and wife Kendra; three grandchildren, Aaron Harper, Emily (Harper) Trotter and husband Brandon, and Hannah Copeland; two great-grandchildren, Ryder Trotter and Everly Trotter.
