Charlie M. Cox, Sr.

Charlie Mabry Cox, Sr., 78, of Belton passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at his home in Belton.

A visitation for Charlie will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018  from 6 Pm to 8 PM at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton.

Mr. Cox was born April 3, 1940 in Youngsport, Texas, the son of Fred Ike and Gertrude (Goad) Cox. He married Georgia Mae Cox on March 10, 1966, in Belton and she preceded him in death in 2009. Charlie entered the Marine Corps in 1963 and was honorably discharged in 1966. He worked for many years for the Civil Service at Ft. Hood roads and grounds division until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters and a granddaughter, Katelyn Rodriguez.

He is survived by two daughters, Charlotte Rodriguez and husband Lee, Sr. and Tammie Booze and husband John; a son, Charlie Mabry Cox, Jr. and wife Amanda; ten grandchildren, Lee, Jr., Tyler, Mackenzie, Mason, Adriana and Logan Rodriguez, Samantha, Stephanie, Mark Booze, Tucker Cox and one great grandchild, Raegan Booze.
