Cathleen Peterson

Cathleen “Cathy” Peterson passed from this earth on September 20th, 2024, in Belton, TX.

Cathy was born in Santa Monica, CA and completed high school with a full Art scholarship to The California College of the Arts in Oakland, CA. Cathy studied Fine Art and continued to paint and draw throughout her life.

Cathy retired in 2010 as a career professional in Direct Marketing & Management. She loved creating and assisting with stage props for Theater and Dance, traveling abroad, going to the beach, and sailing. Cathy was also a compassionate animal lover.

Cathy moved to Belton, TX in 2023 with her daughter Lisa Lynn Crawford and family from Arizona, where she resided for more than 20 years. She lived in Longmont Colorado for 10 years and enjoyed skiing on the mountains.

Cathy leaves behind her daughter Lisa Lynn Crawford (Husband, Terry Crawford), her sister Christin Zapp (Husband, Mike Zapp), her two grandsons Dustin Dale Crawford (Wife, Lisa Ann Crawford) and Brandon Wayne Crawford (Wife, Michelle Lynn Crawford), great-grandson Lyric Alexander Crawford and her beloved kitty Annie.

Cathy’s giving spirit and generosity will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.
